The boat tilted BUT it did not go to the side the first time, it made it all the way across (maybe not the fastest). Although we did end up taking the gudder off between the first and second round our boat finished successfully on its side. Our average time was about 8.5 seconds and even though it made it across I would not design a full boat on this design because everyone would flip off.

Sailing Day!
So today I came in to class after first bell rang and me and my partner ran to hurry up and try to fix some kinks so our boat will sail straight and go faster to get a 100 on our project. We had a idea that maybe the sail wasn't big enough so we quickly ripped off the sail and made it at lease double in size and also for decoration we drew a cross bone on the sail. Then the bell wrung and we crossed our fingers that all would go well. And as we were called up and stood in line we placed 20 marbles and placed out boat in the water, and when the blow dryer went off what we feared most happened.

Although we did end up taking the gudder off between the first and second round our boat finished successfully on its side.
